IHSS Care Provider Orientations

The IHSS Public Authority provides an Orientation for providers each month in both Santa Cruz and Watsonville locations.  For more information or to register call (831) 454-4036.  

About the Orientation

The Orientation includes valuable information about your work as an in-home supportive services care provider, including:

• The recipient or consumer as your employer.
• What tasks are authorized for payment, and what aren't.
• Elder and dependent adult abuse reporting requirements.
• How to sign up for work with the IHSS Registry.
• How to complete timesheets.
• Provider training that may be available.
• What do do if you are hurt on the job.
