On The Job Injuries /en Español
If you get injured while working for your IHSS client, you must call the IHSS Workers' Compensation desk within 24 hours to file a claim, if possible. Call (831) 454-4036 or (831) 454-4101 if you are hurt on the job, to report the incident and start the claim process. If it is an emergency, you can see a doctor first, but don’t forget to call. You must fill out a claim form (SCIF e3301 Workers' Compensation Claim in both English and Español) and return it immediately for your claim to go into effect with the State Compensation Insurance Fund.
