Information for Current IHSS Providers

You have recently received a letter from the California Department of Social Services with new instructions for registering as an IHSS provider. If you are already enrolled and are working for someone, you do not need to take any action at this time. You will receive information regarding the new form and about fingerprinting within the next month or two. The deadline for existing providers to complete the new enrollment process and to be fingerprinted is June 30, 2010. If you sign up to care for a new IHSS recipient, a social worker will give you more information about what you need to do.  Thank you for your patience.
